Prepare Yourself for the Life in the UK (LUK) Test with Optimal Learning Centre (OLC)
As part of the application process to become a British citizen or permanent resident, applicants are required to pass a citizenship test in addition to being able to speak and read English. At OLC, we help you demonstrate a good understanding of past and present life in the UK through our comprehensive LUK Preparation Course. This course is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to pass the test, as well as techniques to help you memorize the extensive information required (over 1400 questions!).

Course Structure:
Module 1: British History
– Lessons 1 – 3: From the first people to arrive in Britain 10,000 years ago to the coalition government of the Conservatives and Liberal Democrats in 2010.
Module 2: A Modern Thriving Society
– Lesson 4: Art, Culture, Sport, and Religion.
Module 3: UK Government, Law, and Your Role in Society
– Lesson 5: Understanding the UK’s political system, laws, and your responsibilities as a resident.
Course Details:
Duration: Five days (Monday to Friday)
Lesson Time: Three hours per day
